As an update for veterans I would like to include some important information. From 2003 to 2007, I participated in this study conducted by Brown University. The study consisted of 2,117 veterans with ALS – Lou Gehrig’s Disease. By the time the study was over, only 800 of the
veterans were still alive. The study proved that military service men and women are twice as likely to get ALS as the general public.
